Audiomack Launches "Supporters" Program so Fans Can Directly Fund Artists, Warner is First Major Label Participant

Audiomack Launches

Audiomack, a leading music streaming and discovery platform, has launched a brand new feature that will give fans the opportunity to fund artists by purchasing "support badges" for a song or album release.

Audiomack boasts that the launch of the new monetization tool which is called "Supporters", is “a first-of-its-kind feature in music streaming”.

The moment that a fan purchases a badge, their contribution “is forever memorialized” on the artist's Audiomack profile as well as the song and album page that the fan is supporting.

Audiomack was launched in 2012 and to-date now lays claim to over 20 million monthly users across the world.

As of Audiomack ranks as the top music streaming app on Apple’s iOS in African countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya and Senegal.

Audiomack has claimed to have played a significant role in breaking new acts such as Roddy Ricch and Kaash Paige. Audiomack has also had the benefit of A-list artists like Eminem and Nicki Minaj post exclusive releases on the platform.

Why Warner Music is Involved in "Supporters"

Warner Music Group became the first major label to ink a deal with the platform in August 2019 and subsequently secured a licensing deal with Audiomack in November 2020 for key African territories which include such countries as Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania and South Africa.

Warner has also joined in as the first major label participant in the Supporters program.

“More than ever, there’s demand both from fans who want to demonstrate their passion and support their favorite artists, and from artists looking to better engage with their superfans.

“Audiomack’s Supporters feature will help build these relationships and allow artists and fans to connect in new, meaningful ways.”

- Allan Coye, Senior Vice President, Digital Strategy & Business Development at Warner Music Group

Earlier this year in March, Audiomack finalized terms in a partnership with independent music distributor DistroKid. This pact marked the first time that the music streaming service had formed such a partnership with a digital music distributor.

How Do Artists Participate in "Supporters"?

In order to participate in Supporters, artists must first complete an application to join the Audiomack Monetization Program (AMP). Alternatively, they can opt to distribute their music to Audiomack via any of its participating partners, including but not limited to Warner Music Group and DistroKid, as well as Amuse, AudioSalad Direct, EMPIRE, FUGA, Stem, and Vydia.

Artists also have the ability to directly engage with their fans who support them via various messaging options. They also can share exclusive content and limited offerings.

In addition, Audiomack will also provide fans access to shareable graphics to display their support for their favorite artists.

Supporters will be ranked on three separate levels. The levels include First, which is for the the first supporters for a release; then there's Top, which contains supporters who contributed the most, and lastly, ‘Latest” for the most recent supporters.

“With Supporters, Audiomack is treating artists as they see themselves – as entrepreneurs building profitable careers.”

“Supporters creates brand new monetization opportunities for our creator community while bringing dedicated fans closer to the music and artists they love. "

- Dave Macli, Audiomack co-founder and CEO

On the major label front, Universal and Sony also agreed to licensing deals with Audiomack earlier this year in February.

Elly Kace releases 'Nothing I See Means Anything'

NEWS PROVIDED BY: GORYL RECORDS Elly Kace has announced the release of a new album titled 'Nothing I See Means Anything', due out on 19 November 2021. The album will feature 11 tracks. The single promoting the latest album is 'Are You Ready,' which is set in a melancholic mood. All 11 tracks are in a similar vein, so if you are looking for songs that can move you, this album is definitely for you. The artist herself is inspired by stars such as Björk, Kate Bush, and Lady Gaga, which certainly sets the bar high and Elly Kace will have to face many comparisons. Additionally, it can be said that each of these songs writes its own story. We can look forward to seeing which track will be the next single to promote the album. This will probably turn out in the near future. For now, it remains to add the single 'Are You Ready' to your playlists and support the artist. https://soundcloud.com/ellykacemusic/01-are-you-ready-revised-album - www.ellykace.com - www.facebook....

Lielack Drives the Nu-Punk Movement with New Smash Release "Blossom"

Worcester, MA based trio Lielack has surged onto the music scene as a rapidly emerging band since their debut single "Nu4U" last year. Lielack was founded in 2021, rising out of the amicable split of the trio's previous band called Dearbones and is comprised of musical savants Jason Pascucci (Vocals), Andrew Quinn (Guitar), and Jacob Blondin (Drums). Jason, Andrew and Jacob have come together to form an electrifying group that is the forerunners of what they call the Nu-Punk sound. It's a style of music that is characterized by a merge of "radiant pop and punk" and Lielack has displayed the extraordinary elements of the innovative sound on their catalog or releases thus far. Lielack assuredly continues the Nu-Punk surge they created with their new single release "Blossom", which is a high-spirited, dynamic song driven by an enthralling lead guitar that's lively and also gravitates you to the track with its crisp melodic and rhythmic phrasing...
