StreamLINE Single Review - KnowThatVoice - “WAIT?” : (Hip-Hop)

Stacked with a plethora of motivational bars and a blazing lyricism, "Wait?" by Los-Angeles based rapper KnowThatVoice is a certified banger that resonates with a sense of urgency.

The emerging recording artist, originally from Baltimore, says that the "song is about going after your dream at all costs" and he definitely manifests that concept within the staunch lyricism.

KnowThatVoice proceeds to scorch the microphone in a vocal performance which not only accentuates the magnitude of the lyrics' messaging but the raw authenticity of his delivery gives it a genuine appeal...almost like it's an autographical piece. It brings the song's concept into further context and displays the vocal dexterity that KnowThatVoice possesses, particularly as he performs his signature linguistic acrobatics across the track.

Take for example, he boldly states in a matter-of-fact toned flow on the hook, "Wait? what? I don't got time to wait. Wait? what? I don't got time to hate. I gotta get it right now, I don't have a choice, I gotta be great." Empowering lines which touch on having that necessary focus to go after the things you want and also seizing the opportunity of the moment. There's no time for external distractions or accepting anything/anyone who impedes your progress.

Laid out over a booming bassline and ethereal melodies and elements, "Wait" is a track that is in a prime position to take off and appeal to all sectors of hip-hop lovers....It's a sound that clear-cut distinguishes KnowThatVoice from his peers in the hip-hop game.
