The silky, smooth vocals of 19-year-old sensation MarLeih will leave you stupefied as you take in her impeccable vocal delivery and gracefully commanding presence as a performer. MarLeih explains how the idea for the song and concept came about as she says, "I was sad about missing somebody I couldn’t see but was tired of writing sad songs, so I wrote an upbeat song about something I was sad about to lighten my mood." She does a masterful job indeed as she presents the subject matter in a cleverly playful, flirtatious way almost, adding some levity to the situation.

Her mezzo-soprano stylings flow ever so wonderfully across the neo-soul, jazz infused bass line and rhythm, with an intoxicating keyboard phrase, draped with an assortment of ambiently designed melodies and instrumentation.
