Tennessee Outlaw Country Tabs Chart-Topping Vocalist Matt Westin for New Release, "Ghost Train"

Tennessee Outlaw Country Tabs Chart-Topping Vocalist Matt Westin for New Release,

Tennessee Outlaw Country (T.O.C.) has crafted a unique niche since the origins of the band in 2014 with a distinct brand of southern rock and outlaw country that has been cultivated via a variety of releases and live performances in Tennessee and the surrounding areas.

T.O.C. established themselves early as a formidable force in the industry by opening up for a variety of first-rate, award-winning artists. Unfortunately, the band has been no stranger to trials and tribulations over the years as they have endured a number of personal tragedies and corresponding personnel changes. With that said, T.O.C. has stayed the course with a tenacious determination and is pressing forward with its one-of-a-kind artistry as the latest rendition of the group has tabbed Pittsburgh award-winning country singer and recording artist Matt Westin to be its front man.

With the assistance of their producer, Bryan Cole, T.O.C. teams up with Westin as the lead vocalist on their first single "Ghost Train" which will also be performed at an upcoming benefit for Veterans Suicide Prevention on March 12, in Carthage, Tennessee. Westin is an outstanding choice to lead the T.O.C. charge as he has established his prominent industry credentials with a trio of iTunes chart-topping songs "Stomp On", "Hey Bro' and "Thin Blue Line" while also amassing over 600,000 streams on Spotify.

The two-time International Music and Entertainment Association Male Country Artist of the Year expressed his enthusiasm for the new partnership, "I'm excited to be the new front man for T.O.C. and carry on the outlaw country and southern rock traditions that you just can't get from downtown Nashville anymore. We're all very proud of our first single 'Ghost Train' and looking forward to its worldwide radio release."

"Ghost Train" is based on the harrowing experience T.O.C. guitarist Tim Burton had after suffering a heart attack, while riding his motorcycle. The song is an electrifying and hard charging track that possesses all the rudimentary elements of a classic country rock song. It boasts a surging electric guitar solo that ignites the soundscape as a whole. The tone of "Ghost Town" truly embellishes the outlaw label that T.O.C. embraces in its music and name as it projects an attitude; it has a sort of in-your-face moxie that holds your attention.

The bold instrumentation is wonderfully harnessed and commanded by Matt's raw, smoky vocal performance that also gives off a metaphorical outlaw vibe. "Ghost Train" sounds like a perfect fit for the soundtrack of one of those vintage, grainy black and white country western films. Awesome listening experience all around.

Catch a listen to "Ghost Train" via the Facebook video link below and enjoy the unapologetically country outlaw vibes of T.O.C. in this high-spirited track. Enjoy!
