Raymond Revel Unveils a Wonderfully Enlightening New Song, "Serenity"

Raymond Revel Unveils a Wonderfully Enlightening New Song,

Raymond Revel is a dynamic singer, songwriter and producer out of Fort Worth, Texas, whose music journey has evolved from his origins as solely a piano based artist in the vein of Billy Joel or Elton John to develop into an eclectic creative with a music catalog that now incorporates a wide-ranging spectrum of genre-bending styles and sounds. Raymond embraces his approach to his artistry wholeheartedly as he takes pride in being what he coyly describes as “consistently inconsistent”.

The immensely gifted recording artist has unveiled the latest addition to his diverse collective of music with an acoustic gem titled "Serenity", an easy listening, mellow song and composition that is endearing in its tone and extremely profound in the deeply personal lyrical content. "Serenity" is a songwriting masterstroke by Raymond that represents a personally emotional marker for him, however, this song has a keen relatability that a music listener can empathize with or gain inspiration from.

Raymond explains in further detail what this song truly entails, "“Serenity” is a piano based singer-songwriter tune about staying in the moment. It’s all about having serenity (as if “serenity” were a person) come to meet you where you are in the moments that are the hardest. Emotions can get the best of people, and I’ve had my fair share of mental health battles. This song is not overly produced, nor is its goal to be. Simplicity is the goal here, and this is song that I wrote because I needed it. I hope that wherever you are, it helps you too."

Raymond's vocal delivery in 'Serenity" lines up with the song's title as its mellifluously gentle, compassionate and genuine. These appealing traits bring a magnetic appeal to the song and have you clinging to each word he utters. The versatile way he expresses the lyrics' emotions and shifts cadence and inflection to convey same is a key factor in what makes his vocal performance so appealing. Furthermore, he projects an unmistakable authenticity that's humble and in no means contrived. That's extremely important when delivering a song that contains such profound lyricism and self-reflection.

When I find my world's out of focus

Remind me to look straight ahead

When I can't embrace the little moments

Remind me of those words you said
