Malibu Wild Dazzles with a Spectacular Trop Pop Smash Single,

Cincinnati band Malibu Wild (Joey Trentman and Corey Witsken) has distinguished themselves by cultivating a wide-ranging, all-embracing pop sound which has catapulted the eclectic group's standing in industry circles since their formation in 2018 and debut single American Dream in 2019.



Malibu Wild distinctively incorporates the essence of a multitude of pop sub genres into their universal sound which includes dream pop, synth pop and an infusion of tropical pop which the band wittingly brands as "Trop Pop". The band continues to build on this formula of success with their latest effort, an extremely buoyant new smash titled "All In".



Malibu Wild succinctly describe the tenets behind "All In" as they explain that it "delves into the roots of our influences and fully embraces combination of Indie Pop and Tropical House sound we've been skirting on since we began in 2018. From the catchy guitar riffs inspired by our favorite bands to the driving pads, syncopated synths and meaningful lyrics, "All In" is an energetic, uplifting ride from beginning to end."

It is certainly that and then some! Malibu Wild takes you on a high-powered, electrifying music journey of three plus minutes driven by a bright and wistful lead guitar draped over a luminous soundscape; and a magnificent assortment of melodic phrases and ear-catching chord progressions.



While the musicality of "All In" stands out as illuminating, we must also sing the praises of the exceptional songwriting and equally demonstrative vocal performance. The song is a lyrical masterstroke that conveys the conflict of a man who knows that a relationship is likely not in his best interests but the emotional connection with the other person keeps pulling him back in. A section from the bridge of the song sums it up best, "What I may regret tomorrow, puts me at peace right now.... peace right now".



The mental battle of wrestling with these conflicting feelings are portrayed masterfully in the versatile vocal presentation; delivered in a reflective cadence while also projecting in a highly expressive manner. The poignant lyricism contained in "All In" meshed with the incredible instrumentation and vocals form a track which is sure to garner the attention of music listeners across a wide demographic worldwide.

Malibu Wild is about getting lost in yourself; it’s about being in the moment. It’s about having the feeling of freedom while feeling everything.



Formed in Cincinnati in 2018, Malibu Wild combines dream/synth pop with elements of tropical pop.



The band started off 2019 with the release of their high-energy alt/pop debut single American Dream, ended 2019 with their dream pop sophomore single I’m Not Leaving, and started off 2020 with their tropical pop single Easy with more coming in 2021 and going into 2022.



The band has brought their high-energy and memorable performances all over the tri-state area. The band’s debut performance was at legendary venue Bogart’s, followed by a performance on live television, and performing at downtown Cincinnati, Ohio’s Fountain Square stage. Malibu Wild has shared the stage with Gin Blossoms, Juice and many others.
