Gohan The Supreme Kai Hits the Spot with an Intimate Hip-Hop/R&B Ballad,

Gohan the Supreme Kai is an emerging rapper reshaping the way we look at hip-hop with his distinctively genre-bending style which is driven off the core hip-hop trap soundscape but incorporates a host of other elements such as R&B, pop, dancehall and other Afro-Caribbean influenced sounds.

Gohan gave us a preview of his ingenuity with the 6-track EP Gohan Saga and he continues to display his musical dexterity with his latest effort, a full-length 14-track album release, Heartbreak Moon, which features today's spotlight track titled "Will You", a mellow hip-hop/R&B ballad which masterfully infuses all the sound elements mentioned above.

"Will You" is the third selection off the new album featuring an undeniable instrumentation that's sure to capture the listening senses of music listeners and it fits the enticing, flirtatious nature of the lyricism which has Gohan showering the woman of his interests with a bevy of compliments and asking her if they can take it further to intimacy.

Gohan conveys the theme of the song exceptionally well with his vocal performance. His delivery projects a cool, confidence. The authenticity is evident in his cadence and tone. Further to that point, Gohan's rap flow stands out as it seamlessly rides the beat while he effortlessly transitions to a more melodic phrasing for the catchy hook section. Overall, "Will You" is a top-notch song from a lyrical and production standpoint.
