German Rocker Matulla Unveils a Video, "it has been so long", from his Groundbreaking Rock Novella

German Rocker Matulla Unveils a Video,

German rock musician, Matulla, has forged an extensive catalog of compelling music which packs a powerful punch attributable to its dynamic sonics and imaginative content; the inimitable collection of Matulla's works has also featured collaborations with a variety of singers on a large-scale international basis. So, one would wonder what could the innovative mind of Matulla possibly come up with next?

Well, the cutting-edge creative has manifested his unique form of artistry into a recent project he titles "Lost On The Way" which is a visionary rock novella consisting of a series of illustrious tracks that stand out with their grandiose soundscapes as well as they each convey a distinctly crafted story. Today we're spotlighting a new edition to the epic narrative titled "it has been so long" which has been introduced in the form of a vivid music video rife with symbolism.

The song features the wistful vocals of emerging Pittsburgh artist, Annie KiXX. Her contemplative, pensive vocal delivery is a tremendous counterpart to the song's concept. Matulla explains that "the song is about dreams that will never come true. A melancholic love song where the singer gets lost in the wishing well". As mentioned above, the music video contains a bevy of symbolic images which are driven by animated imagery of colorful rolling clouds in a variety of stages of nature. To me it symbolizes the unattainable dreams of the protagonist that Matulla describes...i.e., "head in the clouds" type of mindset.

All the factors noted truly enhance the appeal of "it has been a long time" and they are all rounded out by an all-encompassing soundscape that incorporates a lush fusion of rock and electronic elements that are reminiscent of the sound that drove many of the rock/pop hits of the 80's.
