Windy City Artist and Producer Leol Drops an Irresistible Trap Ballad, "Time"

Windy City Artist and Producer Leol Drops an Irresistible Trap Ballad,

Iyan Leol, known professionally as Leol, is an eclectic recording artist, producer and music video director out of Chicago, Illinois and through a duo of well-received EP releases this year, he is rapidly establishing himself as a bona fide talent on the rise.

Leol has crafted a distinct production style which taps into an intrinsic sound that is impossible to box into any one category as his productions fluidly tap into a multitude of genres. His sound can be best characterized by its soulful, ethereal soundscape lush with melodic phrases that harken on themes of romance, love and infatuation. It brings an intriguing, fresh sound to the hip-hop/R&B landscape.

Today we're spotlighting a track by Leol called "Time" featuring recording artist HRTBRKFEVER. "Time" is a seductively laden song which channels Leol's quintessential style to a tee as it features a booming low end against an atmospheric type of soundscape that is embellished with a haunting chord progression. Overall, these features create an ambient, mystical aura which is cinematic at its core....and pushed to the heights of production mastery with a high-strung trap percussion in the backdrop.

The concept of "Time" touches on a woman who is seeking to attract Leol's time, attention and finances by utilizing her sexual guile and the everlasting art of seduction. With that said, "Time," Leol states, "is money, and money is time." The sultry track fundamentally pushes forth the theme of how vital time is and how it shouldn't be wasted on frivolous matters. The vocals laid down in "Time" convey this concept brilliantly through a mellifluous blend of soulful and genuine performances.

"Time" is available on all streaming platforms (Spotify link below). Stream it! Playlist it! and save it to your Favorites Library! While you're vining to "Time", immerse yourself in the full on Leol experience by checking out the other dazzling selections from his Iyan and Leol EP's. Enjoy!
