Multifaceted Artist & Producer Griffin Drops Uplifting Track from Upcoming Album,

Emerging recording artist Griffin has crafted an extensive catalog of released and unreleased material which boasts an eclectic and unique, genre-bending sound. The talented singer, songwriter and producer is a fresh face in the latest wave of new artists making an indelible impact on the music scene. Griffin sets out to make his music a shared experience and that's the driving force behind his creativity.

The independent artist has followed up his well-received EP release last year, Til Death, with an enlightening track and composition titled "good day" which marks his first single release of 2022. "good day" is the lead track off Griffin's upcoming album and is a departure musically from the Til Death project.

Griffin explains the concept of "good day" further, "the album is a deep dive into my psyche - and most of the time we are taken to dark places. This song is an escape from that all-consuming dreariness. I wrote it as a reminder, that no matter how deep we go, we always have air once we resurface. I wrote it as a reminder that everything is going to be okay".

Kudos go out to Griffin on an exceptionally well-written track as the empowering messaging of the lyricism is right on point with his intentions. My interpretation is that the lyrics embody the concept of looking on the brighter side, taking a positive outlook upon life and those around us. We may not necessarily know what life has in store, but we should embrace all that it has to offer and face whatever challenges my come our way.

I don't know what today will hold

But all I know is that today will be a good day

And I haven't gotten good news

But all I know is that something is coming my way

And evidently, I know that life it never really stays the same

But all I gotta do is keep moving forward and keep my head on straight

The optimistic tone of "good day" is masterfully matched by an equally top-notch instrumental which contains a fusion of hip-hop, R&B and pop elements that also have a twinge of the experimental space with its harmonic collection of ambient instruments and a melodic electronic keyboard phrase that activates your listening senses immediately. The opening chord progression also gravitates you to the song with its wistful, reflective aura.

It sets the perfect backdrop to Griffin's authentically refreshing vocal performance which is introspective and also projects an enthusiastic zest for life. His vocal delivery projects that theme vividly and it's a driving force in the appeal of the track.

"good day" is available on all streaming platforms (Spotify link below). Make sure to stream it! save it to your Favorites Library and share on your social media platforms.
