New Music Friday : Fresh Picks of the Latest Releases - 12/24/21

Happy Holidays StreamLINE World! It's another New Music Friday and here are our fresh picks of ten singles across a variety of genres that you need to get familiar this week of December 24, 2021.

These selected tracks from New Music Friday include new music from hip-hop legend Nas and equally iconic producer DJ Premier, as well as Sy Ari Da Kid, Sophie Holohan, Lil Dicky, Klaas, Lucky Rose and Baauer to name a few. Take a listen via the Spotify links below! Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

Enjoy!

"Wave Gods" - NAS ft. A$AP Rocky, DJ Premier

Channels that classic hip-hip sound and vibe from the golden era of the genre in the 90's. What would you expect from two giants of hip-hop who emerged from that era. Nas delivers bars of pure gold and of course, a DJ Premier track would not be "Primo" without his signature scratch patterns which are musical in themselves. It's a refreshing bit of nostalgia that's beautifully linked to the contemporary with a feature by A$AP Rocky.

"We Good (From The TV Show "DAVE")" - LIL DICKY, GATA

Boommode vibes are abound in this hip-hop/R&B type track. Has such an infectious melody and rhythm driven by an incredible guitar riff but it's layered with a pounding bass drum that gives it an imposing aura. Can't help but take notice, especially with Lil Dick and GaTa's in your face vocal performances. Bet you won't get the catchy chorus out your head anytime soon either :)

Baauer

Who's in the mood to dance?!? Well, here you go, a mesmerizing electronic bonanza with a groove that has an undeniable danceability. Grammy-nominated and double platinum producer BAAUER delivers yet another track that dazzles...I dare you to try and resist moving to this hot track. This can light up a DJ set or a club at a moment's notice and what would a phenomenal EDM track be without a vocal line that gravitates you even further to the track!

Alright! even more dance music, but this track is on a more electro pop/future house vibe. Veteran German DJ Klaas delivers a track with big tyme melody and rhythm that has an unmistakable appeal for its bounce and vibrancy. Emmie Lee contributes a powerful and lively vocal performance which makes this a bona fide smash in the EDM world.
