"God Help America" - Patricia L. Willis: StreamLINE Music Review


It's fascinating that even in the most prodigious periods of conflict, music and faith have a way of impacting people in a positive way; giving them a common interest or something to rally around.



We're spotlighting a song today called "God Help America" written by contemporary songwriter Patricia L. Willis, which although written and recorded prior to the emergence of COVID is such a fitting song for the current state of affairs in the United States.



"God Help America" is a song of hope, pride and faith and is a composition that is so needed at a time like this where the country is divided along a variety of fronts...political, racial, ideological and even personal medical choices.



Patricia's messaging and lyricism in the song are extremely poignant and powerful. They are stirring and the emotions they convey are delivered exceptionally well by the male vocalist on the track.



The song is essentially a passionate plea for God to watch over and help us through the trials and tribulations that may befall the country.
