G.E. Holliday - "MyHartIsBloody4U": StreamLINE Music Review

G.E. Holliday -

G.E. Holliday is a top-notch recording artist, singer, producer and guitarist out of Atlanta and while many artists out today embellish their uniqueness, G.E. is authentically distinct with his extraordinary brand of alternative R&B.

Describing himself as a "survivor" of 1990s Atlanta, G.E. embraced music early as a "means of escape" from the challenges he faced growing up such as crime and violence in his community, hanging with the wrong crowd, run-ins with the law and being raised in a single parent household.

G.E. honed his skills over the years and after a series of internships at a variety of studios and radio stations, he decided to embark on his own music journey and has gone full speed ahead since.

Since bursting on the scene in 2019, the multi-talented creative has built a solid catalog which boasts a full-length album, 808 Vampire and over ten singles to-date. Each track carries its own character and style and G.E. continues that trend with his latest release, "MyHartIsBloody4U".

"MyHartIsBloody4U" captures the essence of G.E. Holliday's eclectic style as it immediately draws you in with an alluring and mystical soundscape. The song enters with a pounding kick drum and crashing snare that's layered with a compelling collection of atmospheric elements. The incorporation of a winding electric guitar placed off in the distance really adds to the mystique and overall tonality of the song.

G.E. masterfully channels the vampire type theme captured on past tracks of his and blends it seamlessly with a longing, romantic vibe. His bright and graceful vocal performance projects an authentic yearning and desire that drives the appeal of the song.

G.E.'s dynamic vocal range is on full display as his delivery on this track reminds me of Prince in certain parts and then in other sections , Tory Lanez. The dynamic vocals in conjunction with the diverse instrumentation make this track a "must-listen" and demonstrate G.E.'s keen ear for production and musicianship.

Truly a "one-man show", G.E. Holliday played all instruments, produced and sang all parts on this record. "MyHartIsBloody4U" is available on all streaming platforms (Spotify link below). Make sure to stream it! Playlist it! and save it to your Favorites Library.

Also, while you're there, don't miss the opportunity to check out the selection of other intriguing tracks in G.E.'s growing catalog. Enjoy!
