StreamLINE Artist Feature : Boss Fetti -

Boss Fetti is a rapper, recording artist and Founder of HoodBoy Muzik Entertainment based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, the rapper grew up influenced by a variety of sub-genres in the hip-hop space like East Coast Hip-Hop, West Coast Rap, & Southern Crunk and Trap Music.

These influences have been the impetus behind Boss Fetti's creation of a distinct sound that he fittingly coins as "Hood Boy Music". Hood Boy Music is a fusion of rap from all coasts with slower tempo tracks incorporating a classic east coast type of lyricism.

Boss Fetti is a seasoned vet and well-traveled artist in hip-hop circles having opened up and or toured with a long list of such noted artists as Gucci Mane, Young Jeezy, Trick Daddy, Boosie Badazz, Trina, Pitbull, Bun B, Chamillionaire, Lil Flip, Yung Joc, Trina and more.

Today we're going to touch on a recent track and music video from Fetti's reputable catalog called "Keep Yo Distance" which was released at the height of the pandemic.

What's the Scoop on "Keep Yo Distance"?

The "Keep Yo Distance" music video contains a brilliant compilation of socially conscious clips and imagery that are vivid reminders of some of the hot topic issues that gripped the country at the time.

The video portrays such imagery as controversies over mask policies, poverty, illness, unemployment, widespread rioting, violence and tension between citizens, protesters and police and other trending issues at the time.

The video's raw images are expertly mixed with equally cutting edge clips of Boss Fetti delivering an array of boommode bars. The video does an exceptional job of capturing the uncertainty of the pandemic times yet the tone and vibrancy of the song creates a sense of hope and the sense there is "a light at the end of the tunnel"

The DityOnTheBeat produced track is driven by a thumping drum track and rythmic synth bass line. These dazzling elements are layered with a melodic piano riff that's glued to your brain long after listening.

Boss Fetti flows on the instrumental with a commanding presence and resounding precision which demonstrates his adeptness as a wordsmith and vocal performer.
