Cat Calabrese is a rising pop vocalist and songwriter based in Cleveland, Ohio. She released her debut single earlier this year in March (produced by the co-producer of Machine Gun Kelly's 2020 viral hit "In These Walls") and has since dropped a string of ear-catching singles.



Among those singles, the talented recording artist has recently released an introspective and wholehearted song titled "Psycho Therapy" (released September 24) which showcases Cat's expressive songwriting skills and emotive vocal delivery.



"Psycho Therapy" touches on "the stages of grief following the end of a deceitful relationship"1 and the disjointed range of emotions that the failed romance can cause. These feelings can range from a proud defiance to pure despair.

The intensity of the song's subject matter is also conveyed vividly by its top notch production that features a collection of instrumentation that stands out with its bold presence.



The pop/rock soundscape is driven by a crisp guitar section, ambient strings and a resonating percussion that tells the story of the song sonically.



Cat backs up the superb arrangement of music with a vibrant and wonderfully authentic vocal performance.



She harnesses the emotions of each lyric and projects it brilliantly for the listener to feel and internalize as a lush section of background vocals and harmonies support her engaging vocal delivery.
